Friday Finds – July 6, 2012

I stumbled upon this hilariousness.

My favourite part is when the girl is giggling, and then Dutch ovens her boyfriend. Awesome.

On another note, Katie of Bower Power and Sherry of Young House Love are hosting their seasonal Pinterest Challenge. This is where they challenge their readers to actually take something they’ve pinned and make/do/see it! Makes sense, I have thousands of pins that I will never get around to doing, and it gives some motivation and a quick turnaround to do it.

I participated last time and showed off Audrey’s suitcase bed.

This time, I am torn between redoing the metal picture frame I found at a garage sale…

…into a coffee table tray.

Or sewing up some toddler sun dresses.

There are also a bajillion other projects I have pinned that I could probably get to. But these are at the top of my radar right now.

  1. Hi! I’m actually not too familiar with Pinterest (always the last to catch on kind of girl), but I just wanted to say I love your cat bed! Or Audrey’s cat bed? Whatever. Anyway, I love it. And my vote for this time is the photo frame coffee table tray. I want one of those! And, your blog is beautiful. Peace and love, from Kate in Oregon

Thanks, Kate! Audrey isn’t getting much use out of it now that we added Charlie to the family. He’s taken it over and currently has his favourite stuffed animal in there with him.
And Pinterest is great! I recommend you get on there and check it out.
