Normally I am strongly against (wild) animals in captivity. I should rephrase that, most kinds of captivity. But I have heard a lot of what the Toronto Zoo does for its animals, research, conservation, education and outreach, I finally warmed up to going to their zoo. So Paul and I went in September, on one of the last above 20C days. We took the whole day, and took our time wandering through. But when it came close to closing, we had to speed up through some of the exhibits, and just go to the ones we really wanted to see.
