So, we are back! And have been since early Tuesday morning. Oh, boy do I ever have some stories to tell you! We had a few close calls on our trip (nothing concerning our safety or health), survived the Inca Trail, and took in the great wonder that is Machu Picchu. Photos and they stories are to come after The Man has finished editing them. He took almost 2000 photos, I think he has them down to 700 or so now.
In the meantime, here are some fun, funny, and frivolous things I’ve found this week.
Airplane Lavatory Self-Portraits: this lady dresses up like old time Dutch paintings wearing airplane toilet paper.
A yarn-bomber in San Diego has been asked to remove his work. Which is strange, because other cities around the world are paying for yarn bombers to do their thang.
I stumbled upon this website. Sew Weekly, and it’s starting to get my sewing juices flowing again. I am loving their weekly challenges. Circle skirts for summer, here I come! But first, Sarah’s stool recovering project. Must. Start. That. Soon.
Billy Jean on the Ukulele?
We have another busy weekend coming up. The Man’s band is playing in town tonight, house and friend things on Saturday, then a Cirque de Soleil Show Sunday! And editing photos and prepping things for another Selfish Knitters swap. Oh and grocery shopping. Kind of need food now that we are back.
