Leafy Surprise Packages

I love getting random packages in the mail, almost as much as I love sending them!

I’ve been working on this little gem for a couple months. It’s the Kindling pattern from Knitty Fall 2011, done in the frogged Malabrigo Twist remains of a sweater I made myself, but never wear. So I made a little something for Natalie!

Cute vines, bobbles and leaves wind their way down the shoulders, back and front of this jacket.

I added a couple wooden buttons from my hoard, and sent it off to the bouncer on Friday.

She should have it by now! But Canada Post sucks, so we shall see.
